White oak trees rescued into lumber for outdoor community stage and benches

Green Street Properties hired Urban Eco Group to help with construction services in a project to turn an 86 acre sprawl of blighted land into Riverview Landing, an environmentally sustainable, walkable mixed-use community along the Chattahoochee River. Urban Eco Group partnered with Eutree to help recycle the trees to be repurposed for outdoor community use.

Eutree was in a unique position to bring the mobile mill onsite to cut and mill the trees.

The trees are then cut into boards to be used for an outdoor community stage.

Urban Eco Group constructs an outdoor community stage from the white oak boards.

The outdoor community stage is used for local summer concerts and other community events.

Eutree designs and fabricates outdoor white oak benches overlooking the Riverview Landing dock.

Benches are placed on the dock over the Chattahoochee River. The dock is utilized by Georgia Tech Crew (rowing) team and REI Outdoor School outpost for kayaking and other water sports.

Benches are also placed along the bank overlooking the Chattahoochee River.
